As soon as I met Taniesha and heard her talk about her fiance, Nicholas, I knew I had to be the one to shoot their intimate ceremony at Oatlands in Leesburg. Their love story – how they met, took a break and then ultimately realized that they were meant to be together – really resounded with the romantic in me.
I couldn’t be more honored to photograph them as they tied the knot with only Taniesha’s son and one friend to witness the special occasion. The following portrait session was absolutely amazing – with no timeline looming over our heads, we simply wandered the stunning gardens, stopping to take photos whenever we wanted! Taniesha trusted my vision and eye to create portraits that would capture their love, and I am so thankful for her confidence in me.
